Synopsis:

The story of two brothers who are unwillingly drafted into the South Korean army following the outbreak of the Korean War in June 1950.

The older brother strives to protect his younger brother on the battlefield, while struggling to find a way to have him discharged so he can return to their village and care for the family they left behind.

However, as the war progresses, the horror and violence they witness begin to take its toll on each man and severe their bonds as brothers and soldiers.

i’m not into war movies and i guess this is the first war movie i’ve ever watched! this one is another Korean film and that actually what made me watch this one as i think Korean films are really good! And what can I say, so strong and powerful movie, good story of brotherhood film. A package of real great movie with real brilliant actors! A plot in the middle of bombings, fire of guns everywhere yet the true emotions of "family" and "brotherhood" was still showcased.. The tears shed in the movie is not because the people were dying and all were fighting in this so-called bloody war but because of the emotion that i can’t really clearly explain.. Just watch it and you’ll surely, well, i hope, you’ll like it!

One heck of a movie! Two thumbs up! :]
