                  corner with love

Summary:

Barbie’s character (Xin Lei) grew up in Shanghai. She is known as "princess" to her parents who have spoiled her very much. She understands 8 different languages and plays the piano well. But her talents mean nothing when faced with the challenge known as "love".

The opposite however, is Alan Luo’s character (Qin Lang). He grew up in Taiwan with a strong interest in art. His grandmother who raised him since young may look down upon the interest, but tells him that art can penetrate much.

When the two very different people meet, what is it that is waiting for them around the corner? Is it unexplainable or is it just love?

i was just looking around for another Show Luo drama series and found this one.. and i think i have to say this is a job well done by Barbie Xu and of course by Show Luo.. good performance in comedy that can make us laugh and an excellent performance in drama that it can really make the viewers teary-eyed or to some shed flowing tears! not to mention the nice background songs! Although Show Luo is really comical, he’s really good in drama as well — a comedian like him has a very fast ability to cry too, the character suits him.

People are really having fun online, there are so many things one can do when connected to the web. There are games, forums, movies, social networking, and not to mention the very common to adults these days, the online casino. you would ask why online casino gaming sites are sprouting these days, I personally don’t know exactly the answer but one thing for sure, a lot of people are getting interested and addicted to casinos for fun and for money maybe that’s why casinos are offering easier way for gamers to play and that’s of course through the internet. Cool, right?! Sometimes, it also slipped in my mind to join and somehow get engage with it, merely for fun and see how’s the community going on. That would really be an exciting thing for me and that is definitely a new online adventure for me too! Just a random thought, why not?! Besides, I don’t have to fly anymore to Vegas or to any countries where casino gaming is rampant, its just a click in the internet and boom that’s it!

Lan Qiu Huo Basketball Fire, Hot Shot

Synopsis:

In a school where academic reigns supreme and sports are relegated to a dusty corner of the campus, Li Ying vows to revive the basketball team by volunteering to be the head coach. Her first member is Yuan Da Ying, a country boy who is passionate for basketball but has no skill. Their recruitment goes into high gear when Dong Fang Xiang, a legendary basketball player, transfers to their school.

Around the same time, Yuan Da Ying falls for Zhan Jie Er, a scholarship student who reminds him of his childhood friend. Things are complicated by the fact her family works for Dong Fang Xiang, who she also grew up with. Their encounter may just rewrite the school’s basketball history.

Hot Shot also known as Basketball Fire or Lan Qiu Huo is currently airing in Taiwan but not yet here in Philippines though ABS-CBN already advertised this series and will air it maybe later this year or early next year (no fix schedule was released). This series is starred by 3 big male Taiwan celebrities Jerry Yan of JVKV (formerly F4), Chun Wu of Fahrenheit and  Show Luo, an award winning solo artist, actor and host. Anyway, some episodes are already out online with english subtitles and even though the series released is not yet complete, i prefer to watch a bit of it just to see how Show Luo, the host of 100% Entertainment, acts.. haha! and as I expected, he’s really funny although his role is sort of exaggerated, retarded and comical.. LoL! and for the basketball scenes and the different "kung fu dunk styles", I think its kind of overplayed but not bad, it can amaze the viewers and the moves are i guess eye-catching too. I haven’t seen all 13 episodes yet so I can’t do more reviews but so far so good! And Episode three (3) is just soooo funny!

i recommend this one if you want to laugh and laugh and laugh!
